Robot Arms

I can finally share these after months of work (on and off of course).

Last night was another Murder Mystery party, and this one was set in the future. My character was a robot, so I could finally achieve my life long dream of being a robot for real (or so everyone joked).

While browsing for ideas for how to best achieve the robotic look I wanted, I stumbled across ~Anniina85's tutorials for how to make nylon stocking arms:

I followed her tutorial pretty closely when it came to construction, but I sort of did my own thing with the design. And the glowing. THE GLOWING. I managed to obtain some fairly inexpensive battery-powered glowing tubing, so I put it into the costume to allow it to glow.

Sorry the pictures are a little bleh. I couldn't take pictures with my regular camera given the nature of the costume, so I had to set my webcam on a timer.
